The Signorelli Company, a vertically integrated real estate development company, donated $5,000 to the Montgomery County Women’s Center as a result of the company’s second annual Independence Day festival, Valley Ranch 4th Fest, this past July. The event generated a crowd of over 9,000 and helped promote and create awareness for local charities, including the Montgomery County Women’s Center.
“The Signorelli Company is committed to helping our community. Through events and gatherings such as Valley Ranch 4th Fest, we not only foster a sense of community but also have the opportunity to raise money and support these critical agencies that do so much for those that need help,” said Danny Signorelli, President and CEO of the Signorelli Company. “We are proud to support the Montgomery County Women’s Center’s efforts to help prevent domestic violence and sexual assault, and also assist in empowering the women who fell victim to these crises.”
Center Director Sarah Raleigh has already put portions of the donation to good use with a kitchen renovation. “The women who come to our center are in need of a safe shelter where they can feel comfortable and supported,” Raleigh stated. “Thanks to donations like these, we are able to provide many complimentary services including counseling and legal support to women in need.”
The center is currently planning their yearly fundraising dinner for this October 27th. The purpose of the dinner is to raise awareness about domestic violence and provide information on local statistics, agency services and available programs. The event will take place at the Signorelli Company’s corporate headquarters in The Woodlands. For more information or to make a donation, please visit www.mcwctx.org.
