The Signorelli Company, one of the largest privately held real estate development companies in Texas, announces the appointment of Barbara Taylor as Vice President of Asset Management. Taylor will lead and build upon the firm’s asset management strategies focusing on customer experience, property operations and value maximization for its diverse real estate portfolio which includes single-family residential rentals, multifamily, hospitality, retail and mixed-use product.

“As we enter our next phase of growth, we remain focused on enhancing the performance and value of our portfolio,” said Harry Dinaham, CFO of The Signorelli Company. “We are confident Barbara’s deep expertise in financial and diversified portfolio operations will provide valuable guidance to our team as we set strategic objectives and implement our growth course for the future.”

Taylor joins The Signorelli Company with several major developments underway, including the rapid expansion of Valley Ranch, a 1,400-acre mixed-use community at Grand Parkway and I-69 in Montgomery County. The development features Valley Ranch Town Center, a premier retail destination with about 1 million  square feet of retail and dining; Valley Ranch Entertainment District, anchored by a 210,000-square-foot convention center now under construction and projected to add about 1 million square feet of hospitality, retail, and entertainment space; and The Marketplace, a 188-acre upscale shopping and lifestyle district currently in lease up. Future development plans include a wellness district to meet the health and wellness needs of the area’s fast-growing population.

Along with Valley Ranch, The Signorelli Company’s portfolio includes five other master-planned communities in Montgomery County. In Fort Bend County, construction is underway on Austin Point, a 4,700-acre regionally transformative satellite city at the future intersection of Fort Bend Parkway and Grand Parkway. The master plan calls for 14,000 residences and more than 1,600 acres of retail, hospitality, multifamily, medical and corporate use space, organized into a series of integrated districts. Home sales are now underway in that community.
