First America Homes has opened its first San Antonio region model home, an 1,894-square-foot design at 16403 Ginger Crossing in Elmendorf’s Hickory Ridge master-planned community.
The St. Augustine floor plan is one of eight designs from the “Magnolia Collection” offered in Hickory Ridge by First America Homes, the homebuilding division of The Signorelli Company and one of the largest private homebuilders in Texas. The designs range from 1,364 to 2,064 square feet and are priced from the $270,000s, with multiple homes being ready by the end of this year.
“We’re very excited to introduce First America Homes to the San Antonio region and invite the public out to see our beautiful new model and quick move-in homes,” said San Antonio Division President Chris Hill. “We chose the Magnolia Collection to build in Hickory Ridge because the floor plans are inspired by country, cottage-style elements that perfectly complement the community’s serene surroundings and close proximity to nature parks and lakes.”
Demand for quality homes at an affordable price is high in the Elmendorf area, so the builder is anticipating their value-driven homes to be well received, Hill said.
The available floor plans are a mix of one- and two-story designs and offer three or four bedrooms and two or three full baths. All of the two-story designs also feature a game room. Multiple elevation options are also available. The company’s approach to value also extends to energy efficiency through the Guardian certification program, which requires the home to meet stringent requirements involving internal moisture management, air pressure balancing, improved thermal systems, low-e windows and other specifications.
First America Homes has 11 homes currently under construction in Hickory Ridge.
First America Homes announced its entry into the San Antonio market this June and has since acquired homesites in two other communities. Home sales are expected to begin by year’s end in Applewhite Meadows, located just south of Loop 410 South and east of State Highway 16. Early next year, Hill says First America Homes is planning to begin sales in Jordan’s Ranch, an acreage community located just off South Loop 1604 west of Highway 281 approximately 25 minutes from downtown San Antonio.
“We are expanding quickly in San Antonio and hope to make more announcements soon,” he said.
First America Homes has helped thousands of families find homes since the company’s 2010 inception, and today can be found in more than 24 communities around the Houston area.
