Debt Coordinator

As the Debt Coordinator, you will report to the VP of Finance to support the efficient coordination and closing of project loans & adherence to debt compliance requirements. You will have the opportunity to collaborate with several business segments and their respective leaders, including Accounting, Finance & each Asset Class division. This role will also require clear communication with banks, title companies, attorneys, and other third-party service providers.



  • Review of debt documents
  • Compilation & tracking of required loan compliance documents (monthly, quarterly & annually)
  • Creation of tracking schedules & timelines to ensure execution of contractual obligations (i.e. feasibility expiration, title comments, closing, lot completion dates, etc)
  • Coordination of debt closings with title companies, attorneys, land sellers, lot purchasers
  • Preparation of detailed schedules that track required closing documents
  • Collaboration with Accounting/Finance departments during closing process
  • Post-closing duties (document recordation, receipt of fully executed documents, etc)
  • Contract and closing document file organization
  • Other administrative duties for the finance department



  • One or more years of experience in legal/title clerical work
  • Preferably candidates will have a background in real estate
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Professional manner and a strong ethical code
  • Ability to multitask and remain motivated and positive
  • Commitment to working efficiently and accurately
  • Ability to build positive working relationships with team members
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or similar software, especially Excel and PowerPoint



  • Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited institution preferred
  • Texas Notary License
