State-of-the-art building to serve as new administration headquarters

THE WOODLANDS, TX (May 27, 2025) – The Signorelli Company and the Porter Fire Department announce the sale of 3.01 acres of prime land within Valley Ranch to the Porter Fire Department, paving the way for a new state-of-the-art fire station to serve the needs of this rapidly growing community. This development illustrates the shared commitment of The Signorelli Company and Porter Fire Department to enhancing safety and community welfare for the Valley Ranch area.

Projected for completion in three to four years, this new station will feature an operational facility alongside an administrative wing. This central location is expected to provide faster response times and improve emergency services for area residents and businesses. Initial estimates suggest response times will be reduced by two to three minutes, a critical improvement that can save lives and protect property.

The department's strategic planning in 2024 identified the need to expand and separate the department’s Administrative and Professional Development commands, which have outgrown the current location that they share in serving 84 employees.

Valley Ranch Town Center attracts 11 million visitors annually and is Houston’s most visited open-air shopping center, according to Placer.ai. The community’s rapidly expanding retail and commercial development, along with a residential population of two thousand single-family and multi-family homes and growing, necessitated plans for enhanced emergency services to support its evolving needs.

This station will be the sixth in the Porter Fire Department’s jurisdiction, which spans 52 square miles across unincorporated southeastern Montgomery County.
