Debt Analyst

As a Debt Analyst, you will report to the Vice President of Finance and support the origination and servicing of new and existing debt. Responsibilities will include collaboration with a variety of business segments and their respective leaders, as well as communication with banking relationships and third party service providers such as title companies and attorneys.



The Analyst position is an opportunity to gain experience in an entrepreneurial environment across several asset classes while helping the Signorelli Company to appropriately and efficiently source debt financing for the company’s acquisition and development pipelines.  This role will provide an inside look at the entire financing process, from project underwriting to loan closing. In addition, the Analyst will have the opportunity to build relationships with local, regional & national lending partners.



  • Project underwriting review, including the review of complex excel models and presentations to the Investment Committee
  • Create presentation slides for bank loan requests
  • Maintain debt financing dashboard inputs, financing pipeline reports and internal presentations for C-suite review
  • Track debt metrics including contingent liabilities, weighted cost of funds and maturity risk
  • Review loan documentation for the creation of a debt term definition schedule
  • Prepare and maintain a debt covenant matrix and assist in debt compliance
  • Assist with the organization of internal debt files and loan documentation
  • Produce loan closing checklists and timelines
  • Performs other related duties as assigned



  • One or more years of experience in general financial accounting, reporting or analysis, commercial real estate development experience and/or development underwriting experience
  • Preferably candidates will have a background in real estate or banking
  • Strong financial background with desire to learn more about project capitalization
  • Ability to build positive working relationships with team members and consultants
  • Ability to work under time constraints and deadlines while managing multiple projects
  • Detail-oriented with strong administrative and analytical skills
  • Personality Attributes: self-starter, inquisitive and intellectually curious, detailed problem solver/critical thinker, pro-active and resourceful, exceptional communication skills, extremely organized
  • Computer Skills: Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Word



  • Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited institution with a focus in Finance, Accounting, or Economics.
