Retail property manager

Job Description

The retail property manager will immediately be responsible for a portfolio of retail assets more than 2,000,000 SF located in Texas and Oklahoma. The position is located at our corporate office in The Woodlands and on site at our owned properties. Together with our leasing, construction and accounting departments, this role will be a vital component of a team dedicated to operating our properties at the best in class level.

  • Establish exceptional relationships with our tenants- constantly seeking to help their businesses grow and prosper
  • Hands on management of contractors, vendors and service providers
  • Assist construction with tenant finish out and space turnover
  • Anticipate and avoid problems before they occur
  • Analyze/abstract tenant leases to proactively manage critical dates, notifications and other lease provisions
  • Uncover and seek efficiencies with existing procedures and policies
  • Understanding of financial/accounting fundamentals to prepare annual budgets, calculation of tenant billings, and preparation of year end reconciliations
  • Great communication skills and ability to build consensus in decision making process
  • Seek opportunities to create incremental value including temporary income opportunities
  • Five-Seven years of community center and grocery anchored shopping center management experience
  • Four-year college degree, business degree preferred
  • Property management software experience
  • Good excel and word skills
  • CPM/RPA candidate a plus
